# Verification of returned products

## Verification of returned products

Upon receipt of a returned product, the Seller shall conduct verification and quality checks as required by LX INDIA before accepting the return, providing a replacement, or disputing the customer request.

The Seller may verify product details including SKU, serial number, IMEI number, barcode, batch number, model, size, colour, variant, or any other identifying information, wherever applicable, to confirm that the returned product corresponds with the product originally supplied by the Seller.

The Seller shall verify whether the returned product has been damaged, altered, misused, improperly installed, repaired, tampered with, or handled in a manner inconsistent with normal inspection or reasonable use. Where applicable, the Seller shall also verify the condition of packaging, accessories, components, warranty documents, manuals, tags, labels, freebies, and other items supplied with the product.

Where a customer claims that a product is defective, damaged, incomplete, or different from the product description, the customer may open, inspect, or test the product only to the extent reasonably required to identify the claimed issue. The Seller shall not treat reasonable inspection alone as misuse or grounds for rejection.

Where applicable, tamper seals, authenticity labels, protective films, security packaging, or verification marks should remain intact, except where removal was reasonably necessary to identify the claimed issue.

If the Seller disputes a return request, the Seller shall provide reasonable justification and supporting evidence, including photographs, videos, inspection reports, product identification records, or other relevant documents. LX INDIA shall have the right to review such evidence and determine the appropriate resolution.
