Fragile, Perishable and Special Handling Products #
Where the products are fragile, breakable, perishable, temperature sensitive, hazardous (where legally permitted), liquid, glass, ceramic, electronic, precision equipment, or otherwise require special handling, the Seller shall:
(a) use industry standard protective packaging appropriate for such products;
(b) clearly apply all legally required handling labels and warnings, including “Fragile”, “Handle With Care”, “This Side Up”, “Keep Dry”, “Temperature Sensitive”, or similar markings where applicable;
(c) comply with all applicable transportation, safety, and regulatory requirements;
(d) ensure batteries, liquids, chemicals, or other regulated items are packed strictly in accordance with applicable laws and carrier requirements; and
(e) verify that the shipment is suitable for transportation before dispatch.
The Seller shall bear sole responsibility for any damage, leakage, spoilage, contamination, breakage, regulatory violation, or customer claim arising from improper packaging or handling of such products.
