Seller’s Own Brand #
A Seller’s Own Brand is a brand that is owned or lawfully controlled by the seller under which the seller manufactures, assembles, sources, or otherwise offers products for sale.
This may include clothing, footwear, accessories, and other products marketed under a brand identity belonging to the seller.
Brand Registration #
A seller who wishes to list products under its own brand must register the brand with LX INDIA before listing products under that brand.
As part of the registration process, LX INDIA may ask the seller to submit a Brand Declaration Form along with supporting documents.
Depending on the circumstances, these documents may include GST registration details, PAN, photographs of the product and packaging showing the brand, or other documents reasonably required for verification.
Verification and Approval #
Seller owned brands are subject to verification by LX INDIA. The verification process may include reviewing documents, product photographs and samples. The seller must provide the information and documents requested by LX INDIA during the verification process.
A seller may list eligible products under its own brand only after the brand has been approved by LX INDIA. Approval, however, does not prevent LX INDIA from carrying out further checks at a later stage. If any issue or violation is identified after approval, LX INDIA may take appropriate action in accordance with this Policy and applicable terms.
