Right to Edit Product Listings #
LX India reserves the right to alter, edit, add to, standardise or remove the name, title, description, keywords, categorisation, attributes, formatting or other content of a product listing at its discretion, including where reasonably necessary to improve search engine optimisation (“SEO”), product discoverability, search functionality, product visibility or the overall buyer experience on the Platform.
LX India further reserves the right to remove, restrict, amend, disable or otherwise modify any listing content that is unlawful, misleading, deceptive, infringing, inaccurate, fraudulent, unsafe or otherwise in violation of applicable law, the Seller Agreement or Platform policies. LX India may take such action without prior notice where required or reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, consumer-protection, safety, fraud-prevention or other urgent reasons.
Any edit made under this Clause shall, to the extent reasonably practicable, preserve the material accuracy of the product specifications, characteristics and other material information and shall not intentionally misrepresent the product offered by the seller. Sellers shall remain responsible for ensuring that the information and content provided by them,
including brand and product details, are accurate, authentic and verifiable. LX India shall notify the seller of any material edit to a listing within a reasonable time after the edit is made, except in respect of edits or actions taken where prior notice is not reasonably practicable or is not required due to legal, regulatory, safety or fraud-prevention considerations.
