Suspension and Termination of Seller Account #
Right to Suspend or Terminate #
LX INDIA reserves the right to suspend, restrict, deactivate, or terminate a Seller Account where LX INDIA reasonably determines that such action is necessary to protect the Platform, Buyers, Sellers, regulatory compliance, or legitimate business interests.
Such action may be taken where:
(a) the Seller breaches this Agreement, any Seller Policy, Program Policy, or any applicable agreement with LX INDIA;
(b) the Seller provides false, inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or fraudulent information;
(c) the Seller engages in fraudulent, unlawful, deceptive, unethical, or prohibited activities, including sale of counterfeit, restricted, illegal, unsafe, or infringing products;
(d) the Seller fails to comply with applicable laws, regulations, government directions, certifications, licences, or regulatory requirements;
(e) the Seller’s activities create risk to Buyers, other Sellers, LX INDIA, payment partners, logistics partners, or the reputation and integrity of the Platform;
(f) suspension or termination is required pursuant to any legal, regulatory, governmental, judicial, or law enforcement requirement.
LX INDIA may provide prior notice and an opportunity to rectify the violation were reasonably practicable. However, LX INDIA may immediately suspend or restrict access without prior notice where the matter involves fraud, illegal activities, security risks, regulatory requirements, risk of consumer harm, or serious violation of Platform policies.
Effect of Suspension or Termination #
Upon suspension or termination of a Seller Account:
- The Seller shall cease listing, promoting, or selling products through the Platform unless otherwise permitted by LX INDIA.
- LX INDIA may review, restrict, remove, or cancel pending listings and transactions in accordance with applicable policies.
- The Seller shall remain responsible for all obligations, liabilities, customer commitments, and outstanding dues arising before suspension or termination.
- LX INDIA may withhold, adjust, or set off amounts payable to the Seller where reasonably required for settlement of pending refunds, disputes, chargebacks, penalties, investigations, legal obligations, or losses attributable to the Seller.
Reinstatement #
A suspended Seller Account may be considered for reinstatement only upon submission of satisfactory explanations, corrective actions, supporting documents, and completion of any verification process required by LX INDIA.
Reinstatement shall be at the sole discretion of LX INDIA and shall not create any obligation upon LX INDIA to restore access to a suspended or terminated Seller Account.
