The Seller acknowledges and agrees that it shall be solely responsible for ensuring that all products and services listed, offered, supplied, imported, distributed, or sold through the LX INDIA Platform comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, notifications, directions, and requirements issued by competent authorities.
The Seller shall ensure compliance with all applicable legal requirements relating to the manufacture, sourcing, procurement, storage, packaging, labelling, marketing, advertising, sale, delivery, taxation, import, export, and distribution of products offered through the Platform.
The Seller shall obtain, maintain, and renew all registrations, licences, approvals, permits, certifications, and authorisations required for carrying out its business activities and for selling products through the LX INDIA Platform.
Such obligations may include, wherever applicable:
- Goods and Services Tax (GST) registration and tax compliance;
- trade licences and local registrations;
- import-export requirements;
- product-specific certifications;
- industry-specific regulatory approvals;
- environmental and packaging compliance requirements.
LX INDIA shall not be responsible for any failure by the Seller to obtain, maintain, renew, or comply with such registrations, licences, approvals, or statutory obligations.
The Seller shall ensure that every product listed, advertised, offered, or sold through the LX INDIA Platform is legally permitted for sale in India and complies with all applicable Central, State, and local laws.
The Seller shall not list or sell any product that is:
- prohibited or restricted under applicable law;
- counterfeit, unauthorised, stolen, or infringing;
- expired, recalled, unsafe, adulterated, or misbranded;
- falsely described or misleadingly advertised;
- non-compliant with mandatory certification or licensing requirements.
The Seller shall maintain valid supporting documents relating to product compliance and shall provide such documents to LX INDIA upon request.
Any review, verification, document collection, or compliance check conducted by LX INDIA shall be undertaken only for Platform administration and risk management purposes and shall not constitute certification, approval, endorsement, or assumption of responsibility for Seller products.
