What Is Commission? #
Commission is the marketplace service fee payable to LX INDIA, calculated as a percentage of the item sale value (excluding GST), for facilitating sales, providing marketplace infrastructure, enabling payment processing facilities, and operating the Platform.
The applicable commission rate depends on the category and sub-category of the product being sold.
Unless otherwise specified:
• Commission is calculated on the item value excluding GST.
• The commission rate includes the applicable payment processing costs incurred by LX INDIA for facilitating payments through payment gateways available on the Platform.
• Payment gateway charges may vary depending on the payment gateway used, payment method selected by the Buyer, transaction type, and applicable charges imposed by the payment service provider.
For example, charges applicable to international card payments may differ from domestic payment methods such as UPI, net banking, wallets, or other payment options.
